The University of Maine at Farmington is now offering a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing in competency-based education via YourPace. It was previously offered via traditional online courses.
The program is 12 semester hour credits, each course 3 credits. These courses are core:
ENG 500 Writing in the Workplace
ENG 505 Writing for the Internet
ENG 515 Grant Writing
For the elective course, students can choose between:
ENG/ART 510 Graphic Design
EDU 577 Rethinking Writing in the Age of AI
Tuition is $2450 per eight-week session.
