UMPI Brother vs Sister Battle of 2022

Shout out to my sister for staying the course with her Coursera certificates. Even though we have overlap on these certifications, this was all her efforts to get them over the line. They were initially slotted for BUS Electives only, except BUS 245, which was approved before starting. My sister felt bad for pushing back for another review after the second review came back with the same results; however, to her credit and the support of Jessica, it was escalated up the chain and officially approved today. Here are the following transfers that she has slotted into her BSBA Project Management degree:

BUS 245: Programming for Managers: Coursera GOOG 0004: Google Data Analytics Certificate ** transfers in as: 3 credits BUS 245, and 6 credits COS 1XX (business electives)

BUS 345: Database Management Systems: Coursera IBM 0022: IBM Data Analysis and Visualization Foundation Specialization Certificate ** transfers in as: 3 credits BUS 345, 3 credits BUS3XX, and 3 credits BUS 1xx (business electives)

BUS 400: Project Management Applications: Coursera GOOG 0003: Google Project Management Professional Certificate ** transfers in as: 3 credits BUS 400, 3 credits BUS 3XX, and 3 Credits BUS 1XX (business electives)

BUS 440: Business Analytics: Coursera GOOG 0003: Google Project Management Professional Certificate ** transfers in as: 3 credits BUS 440, 3 credits BUS 3XX, and 3 credits BUS 1XX (business electives)

I thought UMPI requires that most of the UL course be taken at the school?? Does anyone know the exact amount??  5 of 10? 3 of 10? 8 of 10?

Depends on the degree how many ULs you have to complete at UMPI. It's not like 5 of 10. It depends on your major and minor.

It's also possible to transfer in more credits than will go towards the degree. They'll show up on the transcript, but UMPI won't count them as part of your degree requirements. A few Accounting students have done this in order to graduate with 150+ credits and to be eligible to sit for their state's CPA exam.

Please you kind information will help a lot. Thank you. Also i can see you graduated from UMPI as well as s the same program I’m going for. So my question is what are the courses that are difficult and challenging to pass. I am hoping to spend at least one year for the program and I was hoping to get enough information to help me prepare for the challenges ahead. And also any pointers on course to knock out first during the program will be highly appreciated.Thanks and kudos to your sister y'all are doing great….
