I transferred 67 credits to UMPI and they accepted all of my general education requirements. I'm starting the BLS program and my advisor told me I have about 18 courses remaining to graduate.
My question is: is it realistically possible to finish 18 courses in a single YourPace session if I have a lot of free time ? I am currenlty unemployed with nothing to hold me back
I'm not asking whether it would be easy, but whether the system itself allows it. Is there any limit on how many courses you can complete in one session, or could someone theoretically finish all 18 if they work fast enough?
Also, since I still need a few credits to reach 120, would you recommend subscribing to Sophia again and completing a few more courses before my UMPI session starts?
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has completed a large number of courses in a single session.
18 is a lot and I would advise getting as close to 10 as possible since that's the residency requirement. There's no limit on courses you can take in a single term but the math would be difficult on its own, particularly since each course consists of graded milestones and a final assessment, and each can take 72 hours to get back from your professors. Generally speaking, most courses will allow you to advance through milestones while you wait for your professor to grade your other submission(s), but all milestones have to be graded with a score of 3 (indicating proficiency) before you can advance to the final, so there's some wait time built into the pace you can independently progress at. The courses I've taken have anywhere from 3-6 milestones, generally around ~750-1000 word essays each, so you can see how it adds up. It's theoretically possible but you'll be in a much better position to succeed and finish in one term if you're at or closer to 10 courses.

I transferred 67 Sophia/transfer credits to UMPI and all of my general education requirements are already completed.
My advisor told me I have about 18 courses left, including my BLS upper-level electives and MIS minor requirements. The problem is that I still need additional credits to reach 120, but I don't know which Sophia courses would still be useful since my GEC is already filled.
have you been in this situation before?
Can you look at my degree requirements and suggest which Sophia courses would still transfer in and reduce my remaining course count before my first YourPace session starts next month? I have attached it below and it says 74 but in reality its 67 says 74 because it counts the scheduled classes as completed
I'd really appreciate any advice from someone who has completed the BLS degree or transferred a lot of Sophia credits.
As mentioned, the ideal is to only complete 10 courses at UMPI. You can also transfer in more courses after you start at UMPI, so you can work on Sophia/Study.com in parallel if you're ever stuck waiting on grading for your UMPI courses.

It's hard to say whether people move faster, slower, or at about the same pace at UMPI compared to Sophia or Study.com. It would be a shame to come up just a few courses short and have to pay for another term at UMPI.
I generally suggest maximizing the number of courses you transfer into UMPI. So, I do recommend subscribing to Sophia for another month if it allows you to complete a few additional courses.

The requirement report said you needed 24.00 credit in electives, so those can be any course.
Visual Communications and Intro to Business are examples of quick courses that only have 1 touchstone. Try to find courses with 1 touchstone or fewer.
