Oh, I googled "Saylor PHI 150: Introduction to Logic" and didn't find anything so I assumed it was no longer available. Brain fart there.
I was only looking at direct equivalencies for PHI 150. SAYA 0045 Critical Thinking & Logic comes in as HUM 103 Creative Decision Making. Is that an alternative course for PHI 150?

Thank you, done!

Yes. I used the current Yourpace course offerings as part of the database and used the course catalog for the exact courses required by the degree.: http://catalog.umpi.edu/content.php?catoid=7&navoid=317. The results show BUS 442, BUS 315, BUS 214 OR COM 214 as unavailable. I think BUS/COM 214 might be satisfied by PCJ 214 but the other two doesn't have any alternatives from what I can see.
It seems plausible that
BUS 442 - Corporate Social Responsibility could potentially be satisfied by YourPace BUS 353 - Business Ethics and
BUS 315 - Operations and Supply Chain Management by YourPace BUS 323 - Fundamentals of Supply Chain and Logistics (meanwhile the degree includes BUS 415 - Operations Management elsewhere).
The YourPace BA Accounting major is still using the program requirements from the 2023-2024 University Catalog vice the 2024-2025 Catalog (for now). So those courses are not required (yet). However, I'd bet good money that the 2025-2026 University Catalog will be when YourPace makes the transition to sync with the on campus program requirements for most degree programs.
That being said, with the decimation of the Sophia/SDC Upper Division Accounting Courses, the current path to a BA Accounting is a minimum 15 courses at UMPI, so 2-3 sessions for most students. However the Accounting courses at UMPI really need to be overhauled badly as they are filled with outdated course material and rampant busywork without clear accounting foundational learning goals or concepts. I'd reccommend that any poytential Accounting student take a real hard look at UMPI versus WGU, if they are seeking a CBE Accounting curiculum.

Thanks for the info. Updated the spreadsheet.
Wow, while the BA Acc is viable, it seems like 14 courses are required...The BBA accounting is better at 10.

Hello,
It has been heartbreaking to find out that UMPI made these sudden changes. I'm honestly panicking right now. I have been accepted at UMPI but did not send the transfer credits yet.
Of-course for the past year, i have been planning for the BLS or BABA Accounting. What should be my best course of action?
here are my completed courses so far: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing
I had already re-activated my study(dot)com again before i got to know about the change! And already started the upper level accounting classes
My completed courses date from June 10 2024 till May 2nd 2025

If you started the classes prior to May 1st, UMPI will take them under the old transfer criteria.

Yes, you can see it on the YourPace Discord, so I would get them in ASAP.

I am not familiar with the umpi discord. Do you have a specific link for the discussion?
Anyways,
I have exchanged emails with the enrollment specialist regarding this issue and the verbiage of their email makes it sound like if you started Study and Sophia AT ALL before 5/1, all of your classes from those platforms will still be accepted as they would have been before the change. That's the core question I have for UMPI: whether it's only individual classes completed before 5/1 that count, or if everything you send in counts as long as the first time you took a class on either platform was before 5/1. I am unclear about their policy and if i should complete my remaining ACC exams at SDC or just drop them.
