I'm considering UMUC (university of Maryland university college ) for graduate school.
The Master of Science in information technology with a software engineering specialization. Any recommendations, warnings, or advises.

Excelsior is kind of a dumb name but the other two are pretty vanilla names.

Thomas Edison State University is a bit odd, though not much different from Western Governors University. Excelsior is a pretty bad name.

Thomas Edison was a very famous American inventor, who lived and worked in NJ. Makes sense that they would name a college after him. There are LOTS of colleges named after people (Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Brown, Cornell - were all named after people).
