I know this is somewhat random but I'm applying for my citizenship and I know that I have to take a test about US History. Since I also need to take CLEP test for my HST requirements I figured why not kill two birds with one stone? By any chance does anyone know if I study for US History II Clep exam is enough to pass the naturalization test?

I cannot say that it is "enough" (in fact I would say it is not) however, I would also say that it couldn't hurt. Any relevant US history knowledge (I or II) is better than none. I would also suggest that American Government would also serve as relevant material too.
Good Luck! :patriot:

I don't know too much about the naturalization test but I am sure you will enjoy the U.S. History tests which ever one you decide to do. I would recommend you chose the one you think you might enjoy best; learning about the founding of the U.S. in #1, or getting aquainted with the more recent happenings in #2. Personaly, I don't think it would hurt to study for both and take the one you think will be easier for you. Hope this is helpful!
God Bless!

Regardless of how much US History you know the citizenship test needs a bit of preparation, say a week or two ahead of your interview appointment. It is not difficult at all btw, 100 questions, most are obvious and some are not ( like who is your house representative)
g'luck!
