US History. It covers a LOT less time. Unless you have extensive knowledge of Western Civilization right now, US History I & II is probably your best bet.

countingnotes Wrote:any other opinions from people? I would go with U.S. History I, but that's mainly because I live and breathe the Civil War and also like colonial American history. It mostly depends on the area you are most familiar with. Western Civ I covers thousands of years, so you're going to have to know a broader span. But if you like Old Testament history you might be able relate better, and if you like to study Ancient Rome and Eqypt you might do very well. I took all four exams and my least favorite was Western Civ II. Maybe because I failed my college's essay on that test. ![]()
