US History vs. Western Civ
#1
I need 6 credits of either U.S. History 1 & 2 or Western Civ 1 & 2. Which tests are easier to take and pass: the U.S. History or Western Civ?

US History. It covers a LOT less time. Unless you have extensive knowledge of Western Civilization right now, US History I & II is probably your best bet.

I would go with U.S. History I, but that's mainly because I live and breathe the Civil War and also like colonial American history. It mostly depends on the area you are most familiar with.

Western Civ I covers thousands of years, so you're going to have to know a broader span. But if you like Old Testament history you might be able relate better, and if you like to study Ancient Rome and Eqypt you might do very well. I took all four exams and my least favorite was Western Civ II. Maybe because I failed my college's essay on that test.Rolleyes

Another agreement. It covers less time and, if you're an American and had American history in school, nothing on the test will be totally new to you.
