I'm not good at taking classes that use a single pass/fail exam, but I am good at classes that use projects for credit. Is there a college that uses projects for credit? Using several small exams would be okay, but projects would better. NAU-PL use to use essays for credit, but they are shut down now. Ideally the school would be non-profit and regionally credited. I have a lot of gen-ed and IT credits that wouild transfer in, probably about 90 (usually the limit). I had been pursuing "competency based" schools, but for my last year of college, a "regular" school might be better. Maybe I need to go back and look at TESC and COC.

TESU would be a better option for PLA, they can take a look and review your projects to see if it's relevant to what is taught in a regular college class. You can take a look at their degree offerings and see if something strikes your fancy, PLA course is 3 credits, but it can yield 12 extra credits for that cost, thus hitting your 15 RA credits (for those who don't have RA). You can then do the final 15 credits for residency there, otherwise, you'll need to take some TECEPs or cheap/easy/fast credits like the ones from ASU/PIMA and pay the Accelerate Fee (previously known as the residency waiver).

Hm, this is interesting, thanks. I will spend some time poking around on the TESU website. They have a lot of majors.

Also, UMPI is mainly writing projects for grades, which is easier than doing PLA. We normally have people do Sophia or Study.com to shorten and save money, however those sources are mainly tests. However, it's largely pass/fail, so maybe that wouldn't be a problem. If it is, you could add a term or two to UMPI.
If you could fill in and post the template and addendum at the link, it would help us guide you.

Remaining WGU:
4 Business of IT - Project Management – D324
4 Data Structures and Algorithms I – C949
1 Discrete Math: Functions and Relations – D421
1 Discrete Math: Logic – D420
I found some equivalents of my remaining WGU courses on SDC.
D324 = SDC Business 311 (SDCM-0073)
C949 = SDC Computer Science 201 (SDCM-0217)
D421 = SDC Math 108(SDCM-0210)
D420 = SDC Math 108(SDCM-0210)
Should I consider schools other than SDC for these 4 WGU classes?

If those are the remaining transferable classes, I would do them at Study.com as they've got the new setup, where you can take 3 classes at a time, unlimited per month. If you do all 4 classes, it'll be $235/month... Do you have any classes remaining for WGU? If you do, that's the final remaining requirements I believe...

Those are my last classes. WGU wants me to stay and try to pass the Project+ using their prep materials. I've been using my own (Amazon/Udemy) prep materials, and practice test results are pretty bad. My current term just started (5/1) , so my instinct is to refund and get the 4 classes elsewhere. Which is heresy to WGU. I guess I will try the WGU material for a week or two, and then decide.

I just finished the MAcc at WGU and my go-to strategy was to search reddit by the course name and prefix to see what strategy other students used to pass the course. There are tons of students who have gone through most WGU coruses over the years. Use that knowledge to your advantage. Most WGU courses and exams aren't that tough. Figure out the best path for you and stick with it.
