I submitted my documents a week ago, haven't heard anything from ENEB or Unimarconi. I asked about it and mentioned I wanted to start ASAP on Telegram since those answers tend to be less bad than the email answers. I was told it is handled directly by the academic team and to email [email protected] about it. (Long string of bad words redacted.) So I did that. As far as potential start dates - so far I've been told anytime between the 1st -15th of the month, only on the 15th of the month or a 5 day window once the paperwork is processed (paperwork processed on the 20th-24th starts on the 24th was the example given in one of the emails). We'll see what they say. Still in hurry up and wait mode.

Both guys that went through the process of submitting the documents used the word upload, so we can take that to mean you'll have to upload it by FedEx overnight worldwide for $500.

I simply uploaded my documents. Although I am an American residing in the U.S., my Bachelor's degree is from France, so according to the latest email from ENEB, only degrees issued outside of the EU require an apostille and that both the degree and transcript must be apostilled.
Prior messaging from ENEB was that for those outside of the EU, the "documents" need to be apostilled. And those Documents referred to the Degree, Transcript, and ID (front and back).
I have very little experience with getting an apostille; however I actually did get an "ENEB Passport" before with an Apostille. What ENEB did was to take photocopies of the diplomas (ENEB Diploma, Transcript, Ui1 Certificate), got the photocopies notarized, and then got the apostille on them. This way the apostille does not go on the original documents.
As I understand, for academic diplomas, it is entirely acceptable to put an apostille on notarized copies.
On youtube there's a video about the Apostille process via the ENEB Passport. Interestingly they say "First we send it to the notary and printer"

I'm a bit behind on this topic... Can someone give me the brief on this, it seems like $500 for the deal? Is there anything more you get or need to pay afterwards?

Not sure whether there are any subsequent fees - I don't think anyone's gotten that far yet, but others will comment as well.

Hello BJ
Unimarconi is a collaboration between ENEB and Università degli Studi di Guglielmo Marconi (Unimarconi) in Italy, to provide an accredited Master's degree. This particular thread has been focused on the Unimarconi transfer.
Unimarconi Transfer
At the promotional price of $2358, ENEB students could transfer their academic record to Unimarconi, take a 135 question multiple choice exam from a bank of 270 provided ahead of time, write a thesis, and graduate with a Master Universitario di Primo Livello (Master di 1°) which is an official degree (titolo ufficiale) that is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR). The degree is 60 ECTS and part of the 2nd cycle in Italy. While it is not a Laurea Magistrale (a full 2 year Italian Master's degree with 120 ECTS), the offer is still an upgrade.
A bachelor's degree diploma, transcript and government issued ID are required for admission. For those degrees from outside the EU, the degree and transcript need to be apostilled. The initial ENEB marketing material stated that for students outside of the EU, an apostille was required on everything (Bachelor's degree, transcript, Government issued ID Front and Back). The most recent ENEB communication states that only bachelor's degrees from outside the EU will require an apostille for the degree and transcript.
Cohorts or "calls" as ENEB describes them, begin between the 1st and 15th of every month. Some folks signed up, but are waiting to start the program. Most likely will happen in November.
More details on the Unimarconi programs:
In September, ENEB announced 4 Master's programs that provide accredited, official Master's degrees directly from Unimarconi which are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). The programs were announced at a promotional price of $2358

UNISEB Convalidation
The $500 that you are referencing may be for another program that was announced in August, called the UNISEB Convalidation, stating that the previously issued Ui1 Diplomas are university certifications of ECTS (thus not actual degrees issued by Ui1). A minor technicality but ENEB, ISEB, and Ui1 materials insist that it carries more recognition than the previous university certification by Ui1.
If an ENEB graduate wants a directly issued "University-specific degree" instead of a certification, one could have enrolled for a "convalidation" through Ui1 + ISEB called UNISEB at "60% off from $1400, for only $560." Only the MBA portion done at ENEB is being "convalidated" at this time.
The purported benefit is that this will result in a transcript that states Ui1| UNISEB on it, and a diploma which mentions Ui1 | UNISEB
ISEB and ENEB are both part of the Namencis Education Group, which partner with Ui1, and now also with Unimarconi (ENEB does, not ISEB)
Most of the ISEB courses are in Spanish except for 1 of their MBAs
https://iseb.es/
UNISEB is a collaboration between Ui1 and ISEB.
That promotion has ended, and the additional required classes started mid-October with ISEB/UNISEB. Only time will tell If this makes any difference with FCEs. There is a minimum wait of 3 months before a student can take the multiple-choice final exams for the 5 Ui1 subjects and the 3 UNISEB subjects for the MBA. The convalidation is no longer on offer at this time.
https://eneb.com/convunisebusd/
I signed up for both, and currently I am doing final projects for the 8 UNISEB courses to finish sooner than 3 months, there are 2 attempts allowed for each subject.
The Unimarconi courses have not started yet. I made the payment a week or so ago and am waiting for the next call, which should be in November.

The Department of International Relations are the only ones authorised to issue the apostille in my home country. That takes about two months. But first, they wanted my diplomas verified by the national Qualifications Authority, i.e. confirming that I appear in the National Database. That took a month to get. I live abroad so I'm doing all this remotely using couriers. At this rate I'll probably only be part of the January cohort if I'm lucky.

That's a big price jump from the initial $500 I was thinking, haha... I got my hopes up for a moment... I'll revisit this later I guess!
