I am very disappointed. I have been studying for three months on the instantcert flashcards and the REA book, and I received a 45

needed a 50 to earn credit. I have no idea what to do now, I need to get a history or social science credit to complete my degree. Any suggestions as to what other classes I could take that would count as a history or social science? Thanks.

Hello Bigcarl,
How about US History II?
In the specific exam feedback section someone posted a link to some videos. Watch those. They were great for helping to put US events in perspective and understanding the "sentiment" during certain periods. You could also try a local libraries video collection.
Good luck.

You can also try the DSST Civil War & Reconstruction exam. I'm studying for that now and I find the inofmation very interesting. I used 2 sparknotes books (Civil Was and Reconstruction), the Ken Burns Series (5 DVDs), flipped through the Idiot's Guide, and IC. So far, I'm doing good on the IC flashcards. I haven't taken the test yet, but it seems very doable. Just a suggestion.....
