sanantone - that is exactly what I got out of both reading those same releases, a memo from the DoE, and talking on the phone to NAU. SNHU pretty much paved the way, and it sounds like there is alot of info sharing, so it's probably just a matter of working through the system before they all get approval.
The associates degree, not multiple ones as I initially assumed, is found here - https://www.uwc.edu/academics/degrees/as...quirements
NOTE - Max 24 credits of Transfer or CBE, they have a 36 credit residency!
My guess is, given the talks I had with NAU, that all of these new programs are likely deconstructed as well, otherwise, I'm guessing, they'd already be open using WGU's model and wouldn't have to do provisional accreditation or get special approval from the DoE.
Their CLEP/AP options are here - Advanced Standing Credit | University of Wisconsin Colleges
Note that it isn't very generous at all, they really prefer AP.
CLEP -
Humanities - 4 credits
Social Sciences - 4 credits
Natural Sciences - 4 credits
College Comp w/Essay - Eng 102, and (higher score) Eng 201 AND 6-8 page essay to their staff
Analyz & Interp Lit - Eng 250 (requires CLEP Essay)
English Lit - Eng 270 (requires CLEP Essay)
American Lit - Eng 272 (requires CLEP Essay)
Psych - Psy 202 3 credits
Language - Seems to be a sliding scale based on score, and requires staff interview
They do love their AP tests though!
I'm guessing this could change, the colleges each seem to have the ability to set their own policies, but for now, this is what applies for the BS.
