University of the Cumberlands

I know a few people on here have taken courses at University of the Cumberlands. I know it's a Christian university and am wondering if there's any religion in the courses. I've attended a Christian university that required religion coursework and one that did not. So I'm wondering where U of the C falls. Thanks!

I took a number of undergraduate business classes (mainly accounting and finance) at Cumberlands.  I think there were some references to religion in some of the syllabi in the context of honesty, not cheating.  In introductory message board posts a fair number of people (though far from everybody) talked about their faith, their church, etc. Zero religion in the actual courses. No expectation that you write responses citing religion/the Bible, respond with a Christian worldview, or anything like that.  No religious or biblical materials in the assignments.

Can’t speak for other academic areas/subjects or even what graduate study is like there, unfortunately.

Good to know. I would be taking business/project management courses. I know Liberty requires papers about religion in all of their courses which is not for me. I went through that at Charleston Southern University and didn't enjoy it. I am paying to learn about the subject matter not something completely off topic so it's a hard no for me.
