Did Deakin GMBA with upGrad.

The Good:

- Cheap. Was 500K INR when I enrolled. Raised to US$10K but remains a steal.
- Exposure to Indian culture: Unique experience.
- Not super long: 2 yrs.
- Alright workload for the first year: ~5hr/week would sort things out.

The Neutral, take with a gram of salt:

- All case studies are Indian-based. Could be challenging for foreigners and does not really have "Global" exposure.
- High workload on 2nd year: Expect min. 20 hr/week for study.
- Timezone: Everything is organized on IST or AEST. Brutal for NAM/EMEA candidates.
- Confusing content setup, especially for 2nd year: Course Units seem to be randomly glued together with no continuity.

The Ugly:

- Almost no support: Expect minimal support. Never got timely response from upGrad for anything. Had to CC CEO to push things through.
- Constant lying from support: upGrad oversold seats in Deakin GMBA for some batches graduating from IMT, causing students randomly refused enrolment. upGrad coordinator denied any wrongdoing until (unexpectedly) dragged on a conference call with Deakin's Admission team before admitting any issue.
- Unwilling to honour contracts: upGrad unilaterally changed terms in terms of failed assessment without notifying learners. Had to file formal complaints to get grandfathered terms honoured.

Verdict:

- Good if you are looking for a piece of paper.
- Bad if you want to learn anything although once could argue that having to organize student riots kinds of provided opportunity of practicing leadership skills but I would rather skip those excitement.

@cnrqqqqca, Thanks for the detailed review! It's pretty spot on with other mini reviews online and Upgrad is very comparable to ENEB offerings, especially what/how they teach, there is no support for ENEB either except by email.
