Upper Level question
#1
Hello.  Question regarding quickest UL classes/tests that can transfer into Excelsior, for BS in Liberal Arts. Would need Art/Sci UL- 21 units, and Anything academic UL- 6 units. Thank you! Smile

So, you need 6 UL Arts & Sciences courses, and then 2 UL Free Electives, because both the cornerstone and capstone are UL (if you transfer in 60+ credits prior to taking the cornerstone).

Study.com has a bunch of courses that will work, as does Coopersmith. You can also take TECEP and UExcel exams.

Keep in mind that the UL Cornerstone is not considered Arts & Sciences (which seems weird to me).

Hmm, I would refer to this link for Arts/Science subjects: Education/Law would not be part of this list, so these subjects would be considered Applied/Professional. My suggestion is to look at the regular ACE/NCCRS providers such as Coopersmith, Davar, Saylor, Study.com, etc. Link: https://www.excelsior.edu/policy/general...uirements/

Agreed.  But, since the OP is getting a BSL, they only need 21cr of UL in the A&S area (including the capstone) and 9cr of UL in the Free Electives area (including the cornerstone).

Do you think that Coopersmith UL math courses (Statistics and Probability, Linear Algebra) and study.com Advanced Technical Writing would qualify for Arts and Sciences UL at Excelsior?

Assuming that Excelsior brings them in as UL, yes. Math is math (which falls under "sciences").

Advanced Technical Writing is an UL Humanities, which falls under "art".
