Someone did the MSCSIA in less than 2 weeks!

How he did, it was he had all the certifications, so he already knew everything. Moreover, half the master's classes were exams, and half were written assignments.

WGU is CBE that allows you to accelerate, considering you put in the time and have some previous knowledge.  Each course has 1 exam or assignment, and you're done.

On the other hand, Purdue Global is also CBE; however, they have 'Module-Gating,' which the next module won't be unlocked until they grade your paper, which takes 24hrs to grade.  So considering each course has 5-6 modules each, and there are exams/assignments for each module, this limits your ability to speed through courses. However, Purdue Global is still a good option because you can transfer in 75% of the credits, so even if it takes you 6-9 months to finish the last 8 courses, it's still not a bad deal and far faster than 4-5 years a traditional college education would take.

People that are college accelerators aren't bragging. They are just happy to save time and money.  A lot of them want to help others achieve similar results as them.

I started MSITM on 10/1....and caught the flu 2 weeks later....just submitted the last paper for Power, Influence and Leadership and enrolled in ITM....I probably could have finished the MSCSIA from WGU in a few months, but I want to get that credential from GA Tech.

I know this thread is for the MBA, however, I just completed the MSML in two months.  I did not have a lot of managerial experience or many business classes from my undergraduate degree.  I wanted to accelerate and basically gave up having an active social life until I completed the degree.  I do not have children, or a full-time job to distract me.  It can totally be done.

Thank you bjcheung!  I am so happy to be done.  It was a good experience.  At times the coursework was repetitive and tedious, but I'm glad I finished it!  I hope your studies are going well too.  Smile
