Western Civ I or Western Civ II?

Has anyone taken these CLEP's? Which one would you say is easier to pass? How did you study? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. This is the only class I need in order to graduate end of next month so I am hoping and praying that I will pass.

I used the REA and the recommended Western Civ text for my study material. Questions were not bad, just a broad range of years that were covered. I have heard that U.S. History I is easier though. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, it's Civ I or Civ II that I have to take. What does REA stand for? Thanks!

The Western Civ I book receives quite a bit of praise...the WC II not as much. I took Western Civ I and passed the first time. I used the REA practice tests along with the sample questions from CLEP. I kept taking the REA practice exams until I could get all the answers right. The actual CLEP test covers lots of material but it is pass-able with a little preparation. I signed up for this site and really didn't find it too useful for the CLEP test. I'm now studying for the Western Civ II test. Hopefully I can pass it too. Good Luck!
