Excelsior Help

I have decided I want to get my bachelors at Excelsior. I plan on attending the Bachelors of Professional Studies in Technology Management degree. I need 37 more credit to complete. Here is what I need if anyone can recommend classes that I can take elsewhere for the credit. Places such as study, straighterline, uexcel and such. I was planning on attending TESU but Excelsior can potentially work out better. I'm trying to get as many classes done elsewhere as possible. Here's what I need.

I hate EC's evals, they're hard to figure out.

None of the courses listed in the Technology Management Core is available through testing out. So while EC may have given you more credits, the ones left to complete are going to be expensive.

When you're looking at degree completion, it's much better to look at what's left and how much it's going to cost/length of time to complete, rather than just how much credit you receive. A school that only gives you 60cr but the remaining 60 will only cost you $2000 and can be done quickly through Study.com/SL/Saylor/TECEP/Davar/etc, may be better than a school that gives you 90cr but the remaining 30cr will cost you $6000 and take 6-12 months to complete.

Does COSC or TESU have a Bachelors of Professional Studies in Technology Management degree?  If so maybe they should apply?  I have not seen this degree before.

They might want the right degree for them, not just the cheapest degree?  In college prices $6000 is nothing.     jaychris937

I'm not saying that TESU or COSC has the exact equivalent, but that he might want to look at other degrees.

I also think that for SOME people, $6000 is a lot of money.  It is for me.  I personally wouldn't want to spend $6k when I could spend $2k for something that would work just as well.

But the OP can certainly decide that he wants the EC degree no matter the cost, and it won't hurt my feelings a bit.

I originally enrolled in BPS Technology Management but switched to BS Liberal Arts because some of the classes (Intro to Energy Utilization for example) had no alternative but to take the course at Excelsior and some included participating in group projects...impossible with my work schedule.

Do you have an Excelsior College academic advisor?  

I was not finding the right degree at first in liberal arts, but the Excelsior College School of Public Safety did and I received an excellent advisor (Scott Kemble) to help navigate the EC evaluation.  Most folks here seem to be TESU grads.  

Who is your advisor and are they helpful?
