Wow that was great a 61. I just signed up to InstaCert and my first test is Human Growth & Developement. Please give me some techniques on how to study and what to study. Your help would be highly appreciative. Thanks!!! Byron

I got a free Human Growth and Development textbook (Development Through the Lifespan I think) on freecycle.com in my local area. I used it to prepare along with the official CLEP guide. I didn't use instantcert back then. I have 4 children and am a childbirth educator, so I had some "experience" with various questions on the exam- that always helps. What was totally new to me were the people. At that point in time, I hadn't heard of the main players in sociology and psychology. You'll need to learn them (in fact, they'll show up again on all your exams in this category: sociology, psychology, educational psych, soc and history). Seems like everyone has a stage, phase, and theory.
