Who's taking Straighterline courses?

I am not currently taking Straighterline classes but have completed a number of them already.

I took a bunch, but if I had to do it over, I would have taken the same courses through a community college. I prefer the easy transfer of traditional courses and CLEP/DSST.

I recently completed everything except for the final exam in American Government, Business Ethics, Macroeconomics, Philosophy, Western Civilization I, and World Religion.

This took me a month with a very specific plan in order to finish - every day I usually covered 3-4 chapters. Afterwards I was burned out, so I will need to subscribe for another month in order to take the final exams. I plan to stagger the final exams throughout the month so that I can lightly study for each of them beforehand.

I have to admit that any method used to obtain half a bachelor's degree in one month is suspect.

While I've never managed quite so many, in a two-week period I earned a quarter of a bachelors degree by knocking out CLEP & DSST subjects I studied as a hobby. So, yeah, I don't see anything questionable about it.

I've done quite a few SL classes. They were all pretty easy (business law was a bit tough) if you are willing to sit down and slam them out. I think I did 5-6 of them in 10 days or so; keep in mind that I was literally working on these courses 12+ hours a day.

It's great that you were able to do this with CLEP/DSST, but I guarantee you anyone who is a decision maker of any sort will absolutely scratch their head, and be suspicious, of completing 50% of a bachelor's degree in a 30 day period. It absolutely does not sound kosher. If SL exams weren't filled with test-banks and had a proctored setting like CLEP/DSST, then I wouldn't be as suspicious. If his friend who completed 60 credits through SL in a single month had studied beforehand, by using the syllabus to study appropriate topics, I'd buy that.
