I am helping my brother through that program now. TESC is now telling us that they only accept a maximum of 25 Fema tests. He has taken 21 and was hoping to take 10 more so he could fill up his open electives. The ones he has taken filled the area of study electives with no problem, and he is using the remaining ones to fill his open electives.
It's a shame that they won't let him take more Fema's to fill the open electives... I mean if his degree is in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, wouldn't it make sense for him to take as many of those courses as possible!?!? As it is now, he is going to take some easy cleps and dsst's in literature and psychology to fill the open electives.
In the past some people transferred up to 45 Fema tests into TESC. Does anyone know when this policy changed? I am trying to appeal the policy, but I am not making any progress.
As for the Homeland Security Program, it's pretty sweet. The classes are hard, but you only have to take 7 of them. The remaining credits can be done through exams and Femas.
