For those who have done this, does the YourPace degree have any such indication on the diploma indicating that it was done online/remote/as a YourPace option?

Nope. Nothing about online or YourPace appears on the diploma or transcripts.

No need to worry, nothing notes that you're doing anything online... Even though we're in 2026 now, no longer in the 1990's...

I remember when it was called correspondence college and you could do college by mail, I took one course and it took one month to get mailed and graded and the feedback was via mail.

Had an employer...Upper middle class boomer from California. I obtained a bachelor's using tactics from this forum. He knew I was taking classes. He knew I was chasing a degree. I got the degree. He congratulated me on Linkedin and Facebook once I obtained the degree. Fast forward a couple months. He made some reference to me never having gotten a degree. "What are you talking about? I got a degree two months ago." "I thought you didn't go to college." "You watched me grind through a degree program! You saw the diploma on my wall. It's there right now. You congratulated me." "I thought that was just... some correspondence courses or something." Six months later, I used that degree to get a new job and make him my former employer. Two things to take away here: 1. Many people still do not understand or value online education. 2. Go where your knowledge and skills are appreciated. |
