		hey i researched the pricing of different schools offering independent study courses....
i found out arizona western college charges $120.00 for a 3 credit hour course....
wow thats cheap ... along with colorado state in pueblo and san juan college in new mexico ...

Thanks for posting this info.  Please keep in mind, though, that you will need to get approval for any courses you take through AZ Western College, 
if the courses are not already listed as an "Approved Course" with Excelsior (if you're an Excelsior student).
With low tuition fees like that, hopefully their courses WILL be accepted!

		I'm getting intrigued by these online courses. My employer is paying for all of my costs, so I don't 'need' to go the cheapest route e.g. only by exams.

		Thanks for the info!! I'm always looking for lower-cost alternatives to the EC courses, myself.  It's not like I have a money-tree growing in my backyard or anything.  If I did, I'd share with you guys.
