Looks good, only thing i would add is switch around psych and hg&d... intro to psych is really the foundation of all the other psych cleps. Just my two cents.

I would take Intro to Psych very early in the program; the material will at best overlap and at worst facilitate learning of every business exam, Sociology, and several others.

So would you suggest this is a better order?
CLEP Intro Psychology
CLEP Human Growth & Development
CLEP Intro to Edu Psychology (then onto business group)
CLEP Intro Sociology

I'd take the sociology before launching into the business tests.
Oh, and after the educational psychology, go for the foundations of education DSST!

I would suggest:
Intro to sociology
Intro to psychology
Human Growth and Development
Educational psychology
I think the last two can be reversed if you want, but most importantly you should do sociology and psych first. They are not difficult exams, and they are good ones to get some basic background in psychology. Once you do those, the rest require much less studying.
(Just one hint, though-- if you use REA to study, some topics are explained in more detail in the HG&D and ed psych books. So what I found helpful when studying sociology and psychology was to read up on certains theories from the HG&D and educational psych books to gain a better understanding.)

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think I saw the Social Sciences and History CLEP, did I? That's a 6-credit fairly easy one that I would definitely use, if I could.
I would probably do it after taking:
US History I and II
Western Civ I and II
Macro/micro
There's a little bit of sociology and pyschology in it too, but not enough that I'd stress about taking those two first. I mean, you could if you wanted to and that might be ideal but it's not necessary. Covering the basics of soc. and pysch. with the IC flashcards ought to do it for you.

If she takes the various history CLEPs, wouldn't this be considered duplicate credit?

Social Sciences and History CLEP
no, you didn't miss it - I had no idea where to place it or if it would be duplicate with something. and you're right something worth 6 credits could be helpful.
if it is duplicate, what would it be replacing?

I did my first few tests mostly according to the BAin4weeks guide; that is, do the 5 general exams first. Social Science and History, Natural Science, Humanities OR Analyzing and Interpreting Literature, College Math, and English Comp(ECE or CLEP, depending on which school). Easy 30 credits for the most part, and a great way to build momentum and motivation.
After that, Psych and Sociology would be my suggestion, followed by some synergistic business courses like DSST Supervision, HRM, Org. Behavior, CLEP Management, etc. After that you can start filling in blanks for core and major requirements.
I don't know much about what duplicates over what, other than the obvious ones, but none of the tests mentioned above overlap and will get you started until you are in contact with advisors who can help further. If you're with EC, their school catalogs make it very clear which requirements you need for which major and which exam credits they will accept.
