It's my understanding that grouping the tests together is helpful as the information in them over-laps, making studying easier and more successful - correct?
Well after pouring over the board, this is what I have so far.

CLEP English Lit
CLEP American Lit (HARD)
CLEP Humanities (50% Lit)

DSST Foundations of Education
(then onto business group)
DSST Intro to Business (business)
CLEP Principles of Marketing

CLEP Principles of Management
DSST Human Resource Mgmt (or ECE UL) (business)
DSST Organizational Behavior (or ECE UL) (business)

Can anyone tell me if any of these are in error, or where to place other exams in?
thanks!

It looks pretty good to me. Grouping makes it much easier. I know that I was amazed at the overlap in the business courses. Supervision, human resource management, principals of management, and organizational behavior all were similar to the point it almost felt like cheating! Learn Maslov's principals once and get 12 credits.

I know that you have seen this already, but I am just going to add this here since you have made a great list that I think a lot of other people will refer to.
Astronomy DSST, Chemistry CLEP, Biology CLEP, Natural Science CLEP
I was planning to take the first 3. Then I found out that the Natural Science CLEP, which is supposed to be an "easier" science choice, covers 50% Biology and 50% Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, and Geology. With just a little more study after taking the first three, I thought it would be a good choice to add Natural Science, too. (There is also a Geology DSST.)

So true! Study the psychology grouping first, and you'll feel right at home when you move into the business grouping.
For another history pairing:
DSST Western Europe Since 1945
DSST A History of the Vietnam War
This pair would fit in nicely after the Western Civ exams.
I wouldn't take both algebra and college math unless you really needed the credits. If you do, math comes first. I'd also do the Civil War exam right after the two US history ones, while the info is still fresh.
And if you're studying for CLEP American Government, why not build on that knowledge and take UExcel Political Science?

chem before bio? not the other way around?
I ask because normally in high school it's bio, chem, then whatever...

Hi!
The reason I chose Bio after Chem was because the Natural Science is 50% Bio and I wanted that info to be fresh. I'm just starting Chem now, so we'll see how it goes.

okay, I'm keeping it updated...
where would the DSST geology fit in that science sequence? anywhere at the beginning? I'm presuming physics at the end?
what is UExcel??
there's several more DSSt to fit in...
info on the comp lti CLEPs woudl be helpful. if nothing else easiest to hardest
also, any ECE or TE exams that might be a good idea to toss in there?
thanks!
I'm thinking it might really help me. Hope it helps someone else too. I've seen bits and piece of this information on the board with my searches, but I haven't found a thread with it all in one location yet.

no, that makes sense too, to keep the bulk of the test info as freash as possible. I take it you didn't need much if any bio to take the chem exam then?

Now the official version is almost ready. The first four tests to be made available are Political Science, Physics, Calculus, and Psychology. It looks like EC will record these exams with letter grades, handy for those needing graded credit on the transcript (three of the subjects are already available through CLEP, but as pass/fail only).
