In The State Of Texas We Are Required To Have 6 Hours Of Math To Get A Certification. They Say It Has To Be College Algebra Or Higher. I Have Taken College Algebra Already So I Just Need Three More Credits. Does Anybody Know If College Mathematics Or Business Math Would Fall Into That Category? I'm Afraid I May Have To Take Precalculus. I'm Not Looking Forward To It. Thanks.

Hi, My wife is going for her Interdiciplinary Studies degree for Early Childhood Education here in Texas and the other math that they are asking her to take aside from Algebra is Elem. Math. I don't know if there is a test for it or not. If I were you I'd call your school and see if they will take a different type of math in its place if you want to test out the remaining requirements.
