Did the assessment... got the call... I scored a 90 on the English and a 90 on the Math. These courses can only be used with this company's partner college. I told them I was thinking of an education degree and they said their school doesn't offer one and quickly excused themselves from the phone call.:confused:
Someone else may have better luck.
If anyone comes across anything that is "Straighterline-ish" I would like to know...

Because they're trying to sign you up for a school. (Kaplan, I believe.) That's why you need to send them the FAFSA info and all that. That way they can get you all signed up and on your way through their school with a 'free' course.

I did the assessments and spoke to the advisor and she was very nice. Their deal is that they are partnered with Kaplans and that is where you will get your credit. They say that this is a method for people who are serious about pursuing a degree online can try out a call to see if it is right for them. It is not a bad idea, however, I don't know many people here would be very serious about enrolling in Kaplans at several huindred dollars per credit.
