psychology degree
#1
I am new to the forum and would like to ask a few things. I am going to get a ba in psychology from one of the big three. I have requested from them their degree program. I would like to know if in this forum there is a schedule of of classes for at least one of the colleges complete psychology degree that I can test out for. When you start to test out for the degree, should you already be registered at one of the colleges. Who holds your records or do you send them to the college when you test out. I would like to take the fastest way as long as it is reasonable to be done,Thanks

JSD- I was looking at your plan because this is a major my wife would be interested in and I had a question. For the electives you have Organizational Behavior as maybe being a possibility with the DSST and SL courses listed. Study.com has a Leadership and Org. Behavior course that transfers in as MAN-311 at TESU. Would that be a possibility there?

I added that on the recommendation of someone else on the forum, I didn't actually confirm it. I'd check with an advisor. Let me know if you get an answer.

TESU has that SL Org Behav as MAN-311 in my AOS for Social Sciences major, so at least as of several months ago they were still considering it UL psych option.

Actually I just double checked TESU's DSST chart, that exam definitely transfers in with a PSY code.

I haven't seen the study.com syllabus, but it's likely too management based to fulfill the requirement. But it's worth asking still.

No,I do not have any credits and starting new. It seems there is a lot of mix and match with different exams for the electives and required courses for psychology. I am sure there is different ways to get to the same degree. I would like to see a complete list of courses done or could be done or a psych degree at the big 3. There is an answer that psd gave that had a page to degree forum that was helpful about the psych degree. I am still looking to get an exact known course schedule on my own that I can start processing/testing out to a degree,Thanks

At TESU, both Org Behavior courses from Study.com duplicate each other; so I would take the one called Org Behavior, as it's a known quantity - they bring it in as an UL Psych course (sometimes as MAN-311, but also sometimes as PSY-361). The Leadership & Org Behavior is also MAN-311, but I would still take the other one since many people have transferred in Org Behavior courses and had them work.
