Went to the website and it wants payment before you find out about their plans, etc. Anybody use them with success? The tactic seems dishonest. I called customer service and they wouldn't even tell me about the plans.

Pretty much everyone here uses/used Study.com to some extent. The plan you need if you want to earn credit through them is the College Accelerator plan which is $199/month and includes two proctored exams per month. Additional exams in a month are $70 each.

That link makes you sign up if you're not already signed in. There is no where on their site that gives a simple breakdown for people just browsing and not yet ready to commit. it's such a bad system

It shows the 3 prices for me if you scroll down that page, they should be more visible/accessible at the top though.

I typed in study.com, then clicked on plans, then pricing. It shows the cost for all 3 plans. Not sure why anyone thinks this is hidden or difficult.

When you do that while not logged in it forces you to create an account and asks for payment info before showing you the plans

I know that the 2nd price option ($60 monthly) you can work on the course, but you can't take the exam for credit. You can upgrade anytime to the $200 monthly option to take the exam for credit.

Doesn't work if you're not already signed in -- and if you want to setup a new account, they want payment info before you can even see pricing and select a plan. It's a bad setup.
