us history I and US History II - study time??

I am planning to take the CLEP US History I exam on March 8th and was wondering if one week is enough time to go ahead and study for US History II afterwards? I am giving myself 8 days between taking the Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union DSST and US HIstory I. Any thoughts??
48 B&M credits from 1988-1990
On my way to a BA in History from TESC

CLEP exams taken
College Mathematics - 67
Western Civilization II - 64
History of the United States I - 62
Spanish - 64 (12 credits!!!)
History of the United States II - 68
Social Sciences and History - 59
Humanities - 57
Analyzing & Interpreting Literature - 64

DSST exams taken
Western Europe since 1945 - 60
Rise & Fall of the Soviet Union - 65
History of the Vietnam War - 59
Intro to Computing - 432
Modern Middle East - 52

Excelsior Exam
World Conflicts since 1900 - B

next up... TESC course War and American Society, Intro to Nutrition TECEP and and than finally BA in History!!

no, there's no urgency. I just want to knock out as many CLEP and DSST exams as I can before the summer. I am going to need to take 2-3 classes at TESC so I wanted to try to get to that after all of my testing is done. I studied for Western Europe since 1945 in a week and did fine so I wasn't sure about the time needed with these other exams

I just just completed both exams. You can do both in one to two weeks each if you have the right study materials.

First, I highly recommend this website: American History [ushistory.org]
Read through all of it section by section. It doesnt take that long and will really give you a good foundation.

Next get the REA book for both tests. Read and do the practice tests.

Then use Wiki as needed to look up stuff to help you understand. I wouldn't do both at the same time. Just take 1-2 weeks for one and 1-2 weeks for the other.
