Hi everyone,
With all the new changes, I wanted to make sure I've got everything correct, so I can adjust my plan accordingly.
1) There's a new resident requirement of 16 credits, for which you can't use TECEPs?
2) However, you can waive the resident requirements by paying 2,000$. Does it mean you can transfer about all credits into a BSBA?
3) The cornerstone of 1 credit will only be, after applying after May 25?
4) How many UL does a BSBA need? Does it matter where you have them? GE, AOS, Electives?
5) Is there a maximum of credits you can transfer in from one source? Like Straighterline?
Thanks so much!

2) However, you can waive the resident requirements by paying 2,000$. Does it mean you can transfer about all credits into a BSBA? Correct, and yes - although they may require you to take the capstone (Strategic Management) at TESU via TECEP at some point (rumors are floating)
3) The cornerstone of 1 credit will only be, after applying after May 25? Correct
4) How many UL does a BSBA need? Does it matter where you have them? GE, AOS, Electives? Only UL courses needed are in the AOS, and you need 12cr UL
5) Is there a maximum of credits you can transfer in from one source? Like Straighterline? Yes - up to 90cr from any one source.
Thanks so much!
Hope this helps. If you need help planning a BSBA, let me know and I'll attach a copy for you (Excel spreadsheet).

See answers below, hope it helps.
1) Yes.
2) Yes and to be on the safe side, you should email them to see if it's too late for transferring the capstone in if you have completed it already.
3) Yes, you should apply and get accepted, then choose an enrollment option before that date to skip the course and fee. I think you're already planning the per credit tuition option.
4) This depends on your degree program, most universities require 30 credits at an upper level.
For BSBA, the AOS has four courses at 12 credits, and if you are transferring courses in for the Pro Biz
Req, about half or more are actually upper level courses when they come in.
5) Yes, 90 is the max. With Straighterline, I don't think you will need that many credits from them.
Thanks. BJ.

dfrecore and bjcheung77,
Thank you both for your responses!
I have one more question, I realize, which has probably been answered before on this forum,
6) Will credits earned at a CC will be counted towards GPA, or will transfer credits not be counted at all?
dfecore,
For the GE requirements, I'm covered, but I might still need some help with the concentration. I'm thinking about doing a CIS concentration, so if you have suggestions for that, that would be nice! Thanks sooo much

Your CC GPA will come in to TESU as meeting their requirements for having a 2.0 GPA when you apply, but it will not give you a TESU GPA. You can only do that by taking courses at TESU. TECEP's will not give you a grade, as it is C/NC. I am imagining that this is why they want everyone to come and take the cornerstone course going forward - to give you a TESU GPA, while still being able to transfer in 119cr.
For the CIS AOS, you need 6 courses, 4 of which are UL (and all CC transfers count as LL). Here is a good list of courses that should work, although it's always best to get pre-approval before beginning:
REQUIRED - Introduction to Programming in C++ (SL) - or any programming course
REQUIRED - Info Systems Analysis and Design UL (CSU-Global)
Computer Concepts & Applications (TECEP)
Network Technology UL (TECEP)
Management Information Systems UL (DSST)
Cloud Computing and Big Data UL (CSU-Global)
These are the cheapest and easiest to find for testing out, but there are obviously other options out there. Your CC probably has some, but they just won't come in as UL no matter what (even if there is an UL course comparable at TESU, they won't bring it in as UL).
