I now have a few reasons why I don't like RPNow. lol
I can say without derailing the thread, you can take it from a poor internet connection (Better than dialup, anyway).
I don't like the idea of taking up to three days to process my score, but I don't know if that's an artifact of the RPNow process or the DAVAR process.
That's actually pretty fast. My TECEPs and CSU Global CBE with essay questions took longer to score.

I just scored 84% on CIS 101. I read the PowerPoint and the first two quizzes. Very easy and quick. Took me less than 30 minutes. The material is dated. Kind of like jumping back into 90s. Several questions had format issues. I was kind of shocked that the last ten qs were fill in the blank rather than essays. That worried me at first, but I came through okay.

Instant scoring, btw, on that one. That is the first test with instant scoring that I've seen at Davar.

How much time did you spend studying the powerpoint before you felt that you are ready for the exam?

It took me about 20 minutes to read the powerpoint. I do like tech stuff, though, so some of this I already knew. I would classify this exam as pretty easy.

Okay, I also took the SCI 102/Earth Science exam this even. That one was MUCH harder. In fact, this was the real deal in my mind. Clearly the toughest Davar exam I've taken up to this point. I read the powerpoint again. There is quite a bit of terminology on this one. The exam asked for very specific information. It's not really possible to use logic or guess through this one. There were 44 multiple choice questions from a test bank, then six essay questions and then five identify/fill in the blanks questions based on diagrams. There was an automatic scoring mechanism for the first and third portions. This indicated that I had failed both the first and third sections. I think that I did well on the second section and I would argue the fail on the third section because I know that I answered those five correctly. I might have used too many words. I will see how the final scoring goes and move from there. All in all, I am kind of happy that some of these exams are difficult.

Got an 85 on CIS 101 this morning.
I saw 2 questions not from the provided material, all of the rest were. Pay attention to the definitions and the "except" and "not" type of statements provided.
I read the powerpoint 3 times and quizzes twice over the past few days. I forgot a couple of questions that I remembered seeing in the study material.
One course closer to my degree now....next up is international management after I get back from vacation.

Hi Everyone,
I was able to take CIS 101,Eco 301 and Eng 103 since yesterday. Which is Intro. Computers, Microeconomics, and Info Lit. The only one I received a score on was the CIS 101 which was in the 80's (essays were one word answers for this exam). Passing rate is anything above 70%. FYI the only thing I studied was the PDF they provide and I did not do the quizzes. I read the pdf 2 times then on the third time I would write down key words or ideas then immediately take the test. I wanted to post that since everyone had questions on getting the book or getting extra services which are not needed. I hope this helps. My journey does not end here. I am hoping to take many more tests through Davar this month. I will be happy to update the other grades once they come in.

Any advice for the Micro exam? I took the Macro CLEP 2 years back and barely passed that one. Planning on taking a shot at Micro through Davar since I just signed up for the Unlimited exams.
