Yeah, that popped up in my email this morning. If it resembles the OMSCS program, especially in cost, it would be very popular.

Same thing I got, but it sounds like they are at least sniffing out if there's an interest.

I have a general idea of how their current OCMSCS works --- They partnered with uDacity to provide cheap course content --- but can someone break it down a little bit more for me? Or is there not much more to it than that?

Yeah, that's a little too simplistic. All the content was developed by GA Tech. The courses are taught by GT professors and the program is administered entirely by GT. Udacity is the vehicle for delivery of lecture material. The course itself (assignments, grading, interaction with Profs, TAs and other students, testing) is run separately. Many of the TAs are other OMSCS students.

It's every bit the equivalent of the on campus program.

That sounds awesome if they can keep the tuition pricing at $7500 or whatever it was for the OMSCS, I think it'll be a better program than what is currently available at WGU. I am just going to wait for more details...

Looks like there's no way to accelerate and you can only take 2 courses a term/1 course per summer term... Could be a long program.
