Degree dilemma
#11
#1 Don't get another BS if you can go straight for your requirements / MS. You should ask about PLA options.

I guess my real question is: can you do the remaining CPA courses you need, and then just get your CPA? Why would you get another BS OR a MS? Or do you HAVE to have one or the other?

<takes out the popcorn> *this is so exciting*... 3 minutes later... watching Streaming the Sonic movie with kids/wife...

Notes: 1) Find out what your state CPA requirements are, 150 credits, 30 credits in accounting, whatever it maybe, etc...
2) Take all the relevant courses you don't have and the prerequisites for those courses if any that are needed for accounting
3) You have a BA/MA already, requirements missing should only be the accounting courses, find a different college/univ if you can instead of this current one that is restrictive, there should be alternative colleges/univ in your state
4) As a final word, you get to weigh your decisions based on your own criteria which options would be best for your own situation, rank them on which one suits you most and go for it.

Careful of those popcorn kernels. They may cause an emergency visit to the dentist. Seriously. An article I read went on about things to avoid so as to avoid medical trips, and that was one of them.

Option 1. Your goal is CPA, great: take the shortest/cheapest road to that goal.
