The Environmental Science course from Sophia is a really good course. I learned a lot and while the subject matter did not generally interest me, the presentation was just varied enough to keep me interested and motivated to finish. Good luck!

Some finals do count towards your final grade. Others do not. I don't remember off the top of my head which ones do and don't.

Challenges, touchstones, milestones ; all count, milestones are worth twice as much. For those you need 70% overall. Final milestone does not count, does need at least 50%.

I'm taking Environmental Science through Sophia. I'm halfway through the course. It's not bad. Much better platform than onlinedegree.com which had 45 minute videos and the questions didn't match the videos at all. Sophia is all open book for the milestones too which is nice.
I just finished the 3rd milestone. I see that the Final milestone allows 90 minutes. Have you reached the Final milestone yet? If so do you remember how many questions it has?

I just finished the 3rd Milestone. One more to go! And the Final Milestone. This is week 8 at CSU for me so I'm hammered getting my portfolio projects done or else I would be done with Environmental Science.
