I am not sure about "old" courses, but two new courses have that clause.
The Final Milestone always counted in the grade. It was worth 3 times as many points as the Challenge questions. The percentage to pass is new. It's not in the older courses. I'm finishing Microecon tonight and I started it yesterday. These changes may be for new courses and may be because of ACE.

Ok, I give up. Trying to fix my comment, and the portion I add keeps disappearing. Oh well.
On the previous courses, the Unit Milestones were worth 2 points each and the Final Milestone was worth 3 points each. These changes aren't bad. Better than not having these courses available! Final Milestone never counted towards course grade. You had to pass it to be able to submit course .

On some courses it counts; on others it doesn't count, but you need to score 50%.

Final milestone did not count towards classes I have previously taken (with the exception - Intro to Info Tech). I checked the "Score report" tab for every single course I've taken - final milestone "grade" was not counted.
This appears to be a new rule.

Definitely not a new rule. I just reviewed a few of the classes I've taken and the Final Milestone was included with the Milestones and counted in my points. May not be the case in the older courses? Definitely in Environmental Science.
I just checked all of my courses on Sophia and on the older - much older - courses the Milestones are 2 points each and Final Milestone did not count. On the newer classes - not the 2 newest added this week - the Final Milestone is 3 points each and it is counted in the score. So there have been changes made for years and either no one on here noticed or they just didn't say anything until now when a new change took place - the Final Milestone must be passed with 50%. I'm not surprised by this 50% requirement. Other credit sources have similar requirements.

I don't know if they've been updating it every time a course comes up for ACE renewal but this is not a surprise that was sprung on people just now. It's been there since at least the beginning of the year. I've been adding requirements to https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/So...lency_List as I encounter them.
11 Sophia courses have finals that count. 21 have finals that do not count.

Does anyone have any experience with courses transferring to COSC when, at the beginning of the course, there wasn't an agreement with COSC? To clarify, Sophia's Finance course isn't (well, wasn't a few days ago) listed as transferable to COSC. If I take it now, does it seem likely based upon your personal experience that it will be accepted by COSC?
