ENEB Master Thread

I just received the ECE evaluation of my Master in Project Management from Universidad Isabel I. It was recognized as "Bachelor degree, major area of study: Project Management". I chose the validation for employment service ($85) so I didn't have to send a transcript or any original, ECE used the "Código Seguro de Verificación (CSV)" in my UI1 diploma to validate it.

Now, I was hoping to list this degree as a master in my resume, but it was validated as a bachelor's degree. How would you list it?

Interesting.  Did ENEB send your transcript themself? I am curious it doesnt mention ENEB at all

Well, two positive takeaways and one negative. Negative first, it didn't evaluate as a U.S. Masters degree. The positives are, it DID evaluate as a U.S. equivalent degree, so $249-$299 for that is one helluva bargain. You earned another valid degree, you learned some new things, and you spent pennies to do it.

Hey, I'm curious: how long did ECE take to turn out your evaluation?

 It was $249 for the ENEB course and $85 for ECE, so under $400 is not bad at all.

ECE took about a week to mail me the document, they have a nice status tracker on their website.

Did they give you extra college credit for the Master-to-Bachelor switch?

What does that mean? I don't understand.

I've clarified it above. ENEB offers a graduate-level Master program. This evaluator apparently gave an equivalency to a three-year undergraduate program. On what basis? This is 60 ECTS credits. That's clearly not three years. In Europe, 60 ECTS credits would be done over a single year, or a year and half at most. U.S. credit equivalency comes out at 30 credits. How is that even close to 3 years?

ENEB didn't send anything, but when I emailed my documentation to ECE I included my ENEB diploma and transcript.

How could a 60 ECTS program be equated to a three-year Bachelor's degree in the U.S.? 60 ECTS credits is close to 30 U.S. college credits. Did they give you extra college credit for the graduate to undergraduate switch? Also, the full evaluation outcome report doesn't show up in the .png file.

It's a good question, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. The evaluation is only a 1 pager, it's pretty much what I've attached, I just snipped the image to leave out my personal information. 

They have more comprehensive evaluation packages, but I chose the cheapest option which is employment.

Probably because the degree program and document is certified by Isabel.

EDIT: I am curious as to whether Dee sent the Isabel certified diploma, or just the ENEB diploma.

Probably because the degree program and document is certified by Isabel.

I think that the 1500 hours listed on the diploma made a big difference here. One credit hour in the United States is worth 15 hours. I think that the evaluator got out the calculator and divided 1500 by 15 to reach 100 credit hours. Since one year in a U.S. undergraduate school is 30 credit hours, 90 makes 3 years and 120 makes 4 years.

So, this degree will likely have the same issues raised by other international three year degrees. Still, it is a bachelor's degree for $400.

You sent only the ENEB diploma? Not the diploma certified by Isabel?

I sent the Isabel I diploma, and also added the Eneb diploma and transcript with a note explaining how they were related. I tried to anticipate ECE asking me for a transcript from Isabel.
