UL tests

What is everyones opinion as to the easiest UL tests out there? Not degree specific but just in general. I am looking at transferring to EC to speed up the process of my degree and I am looking at roughly 9 UL classes/test I will need to take. I am looking at the BS Liberal Arts so it is a general question. Are the UL tests alot harder than others? Are ECE test similar to CLEP and DSST? Any UL test that are similar to take back to back?

For me,

I thought the ECE exams HRM and Labor Relations were easy with minimum study time.
But it may different for you?

MIS was fairly easy as upper level tests go.

I found DSST tests Intro to World Religions and Organizational Behavior to be relatively easy.

If you're looking for a Liberal Studies degree, I'd take a look at TESC. They'll accept 200 level credits as upper level, which gives you more flexibility as far as your testing options go. Plus, you can use FEMA credits without having to go through FCC.

I was really leaning towards TESC but the $2300 tuition rules them out. I don't have that kind of money and then have to pay for tests on top of that. I wonder how many more people(more money) they could get in the long run if they lowered that yearly tuition?

Yeah, that yearly tuition really is a kick in the junk. I'm going to have to pay it really soon and I'm soooo not looking forward to it.

Are you military, by any chance?

I think the ECEs are not to difficult to take, and they are FREE FOR MILITARY!hilarious .

You have (4) Possible answers and they are written in plain English most of the time.

Some do not like them, because they are almost always (130) questions, unlike DSSTs, which average under 100.

I have been getting Bs & Cs on them regularly and prefer them to cleps. 130 questions gives you wiggle room on missing some questions also.

Now, I have not used any other study guides on them except for IC which gives enough for a pass.

I was in the Marine Corps many moons ago, so the military programs wont work for me. EC does give veterans a brake on enrollment fees though.

A legit question here- but for a liberal arts degree, why would you choose EC over TESC? In this degree, TESC has much easier requirements. Just wondering?
I understand about the yearly enrollment fee, but once you consider the cost of EC exams to hit your upper level credits, are you sure it's cheaper?
Also, have you applied for financial aid? Not that paying out of pocket is wrong, but you might be suprised to find out you have qualified for a Pell grant- that's a $4500 yearly gift if you do. Something to think about!

TESC might be easier but the $2300 is a major stumbling block. EC has a $750( or something like that) enrollment fee that my employer will pay for but they wont pay TESC's $2300 yearly tuition.If TESC would just call it an enrollment fee, I am sure many of us could get our employer to cover it, where as now they wont so we are forced to go another direction. They will only reimburse tuition per class. I am trying to figure out how to get tests covered but so far they say no. It would be cheaper on them for me to test than to take the class, but it is hard to fight big business. Like I said, I know TESC might be easier but EC will be cheaper. I am looking for speed but everything has it's price unfortunately.
