Looking for affordable RA Masters in Psychology
#1
Hello, I graduated from TESU in 2017 with BA in Psychology. Been wanting to do a masters since but haven’t found anything affordable. There some options in UK but they all require an upfront payment. I would also prefer a one year program rather than a 2 year one. My goal is to do a doctorate so I’d also be interested in a masters to PhD/PsyD programs as well. TIA.

Have you got any other requirements? For instance, Walden has different Masters in various Psychology fields. Competency-based, so you could go as fast or as slow as needed. But if you need it for licensing in the US, I don't think Walden will work.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

No other requirements really, I’m not needing for licensing as I’m planning to eventually go for a doctorate. But I would prefer that the university is not an online only university.

You really need to find out what end goal you have is, we know it's the PhD/PsyD, but at which "school?". You need to "zone" into that short list of schools... This basically determines what Masters programs are accepted. Which state are you in? If you're in California, you may want to do something like what I was planning... before I made a change to my plans... Here's my example:

Then: TESU BA > Walden MS Psychology > California Southern PsyD (for the cost, it's $35K USD)
Now: TESU BA > Walden MS Psychology > UCN PhD in Psych (international Univ for roughly $10K)

Then: TESU BSBA > Walden MBA > California Southern DBA (for the cost, again it's $35K USD)
Now: TESU BSBA > Walden MBA > UCN DBA (international equivalent to RA, for again, $10K USD)

Thank you. I have also looked at California Southern University but it has horrible reviews. I don’t have any university for the doctorate in mind.
May I ask what is UCN? I looked it up and more than one showed up.

I'm pretty sure that UCN = Universidad Central de Nicaragua or Central University of Nicaragua.

I have 2 suggestions.  The first is that you strongly consider a Masters degree that would make you eligible for licensure.  You may be intending to get a doctoral degree but, as our friend Billy Shakespeare once said, "There's many a slip twixt the cup and the lip."  Shit happens and if your plans for a doctorate go south, at least you'll have a way to get your license and start working.  My second suggestion is that you look at Ft. Hays State University

Thanks, will check that out. I am an international student, so not sure how I can become licensed in this case.

I'm not sure if "international student" means that you're from some non-US country and living in the US or if your living elsewhere and attending a US school online.  The point is, you need to investigate the requirements for licensure wherever you'll be living once you get the degree.  In the US that will be a state agency, for example, the Dept. of Public Health.  It can vary a bit from state to state.
