Natural Sciences

I'm thinking about taking the Natural Sciences CLEP. How hard is this one (I have some biology background), and what resources did you all use?

Broad, shallow exam well served by a lifetime of nerdy reading. I used REA supplemented with online Cliffs.

Before I start, I'll say that I have not taken this CLEP yet.

Have you looked at Free Clep Prep.com? It will tell you, basically, what the test covers, provides some study suggestions, etc. It also has an exam difficulty list (Natural sciense is level 4 out of 5).

Once you take this test, I'd love to know how it went. I have to take this test sometime this year and I haven't taken (nor plan to) the biology test which supposedly is a great help.

I took and passed this test with a 57. The only prep I did was skimming the section in Princeton Review's CLEP book, take the practice test, and study the explanations. I have very little science background... I only did Bio in HS.

That said, I did not feel confident while taking this exam, and was afraid I may not have passed. I am generally a good guesser, though. Smile

yeah... there's actually no flashcards for NatSci. However, as u find out thru the specific exam feedback, 50% of the exam is Biology-which does have cards.

I jus studied the Bio cards & took them both the same day.. 12 credits in one whop

Sit the test
