Excelsior accepting more DSST as upper units

That's good to hear. Are you under any kind of deadline, like the 30 days for the initial enrollment evaluation?

I was thinking of the ALEKS Stats example, too. Since the business degree had a specific requirement for lower-level Stats, it seemed like they were filling that slot as-is and not following the ACE recommendation. This seems like a different situation, but I guess we'll have to wait and see, which I am sure is not easy for you.

How many upper-level credits do you still need for this degree?

I am under the 30 day deadline of the intial evaluation. I need 30 upper level credits for this degree. I do have the 5 upper level Vesi/Morningside grad credits I could use. When I signed up for the second degree I did not realize the upper level I used in my first degree could be used toward the 30 upper level needed for my second degree . This is why I was hoping the Dantes Religion and Ethics would be counted as upper level, as I did not have them as upper level in my first degree.

I asked to have the ECE Ethics removed and the dantes Ethics posted in its place, but was told since I took the ECE I could not use the Dantes Ethics. Since I was not trying to get credit for both I figured I could switch them out but I was wrong. Now that they are not giving upper level for it I guess it doesn't matter.


Honestly, I am contemplating not getting this second Bachelor degree, as it is really turning into a hassle and I am getting frustrated in my dealings with Excelsior this time around. Now contemplating if I should move forward with this degree or throw in the towel and just go for a Masters degree through Amberton or another college.
