Good for you. Definitely get as much experience as you can. Do not discount home-based experience either. Eat, live, breath computers. Spend less time playing games and facebooking, and more time building networks, troubleshooting routing issues, installing different operating systems, etc.
Play hard and work harder and you will achieve your goals.
