Principles of Macroeconomics and Macroeconomics on StraighterLine

Hello,

I have some questions about taking Principles of Macroeconomics and Macroeconomics via StraighterLine. I have a background in Electronics Engineering and work full time. I plan on taking up part time MBA and pre-reqs for the MBA are macro and micro economics. I have not come across either of these in the past. I made sure that the university accepts SL credits for the same.

Please help answer these questions:
- How long does it take to finish both these courses via SL? How easy (or tough) is it for someone who has an engineering background?
- Is there a proctored final exam at the end of each course?
- Should I sign up for each course individually ($399) or can I go the $99/month PLUS $39/course route?
