Path to an Associates Degree?

I just took a quick look and I assume your courses are semester hours. For an AA or AS in Liberal Arts at EC, I think you would only need Info Lit and the Capstone course to finish. The total cost would be about $2700 plus Info Lit.

This thread (first link) may be too out of date. I know that the Gen Eds and Capstone have changed at EC. It may still give you an idea of how close you are at the other schools, too. You'll need to check if COSC requires the Cornerstone or Capstone courses for associate degrees now.

TESC is a little more expensive than Excelsior when testing out or transferring in all of your credits for an associates; but, you can easily get an associates in computer science, computer studies, or some other subject without having to take a capstone, cornerstone, or information literacy. If you're just wanting a general studies/liberal arts associates, then COSC is the cheapest. If you want a degree in a different subject, you have to go with EC or TESC.

Looks like COSC or TESC is the way to go, seeing as I live in GA, and I'm guessing I probably can't do this online?

Just the Cornerstone for the AA/AS at COSC.

Make that just TESC then.

I have yet to take any CS classes and am working on that presently. Hopefully I get an Associates rather soon.

This is mostly for my job security.
