If the op is for sure at TESC there is no issue, and even still, technical writing isn't part of a sequence that would cause trouble even if there were sequence rules. An example is taking a calc CLEP today, and then enrolling, and after being granted credit, deciding to go back and take algebra 1. This at TESC is allowed, but some schools say nay-nay.
