Alright, well I want to say there is a difference.
Healthcare, Obama's mandate, versus individual and state choices
Party platform- abortion versus pro-life, fiscal discretion versus debit spending
Even if Romney flipflops in every breeze does not mean he is unaccountable. Because he is running under the Republican platform which by the way most evangelical, religious etc. people support, that means we have, as under any president, an obligation as citizens to hold the candidates to what they say regardless of how many different things they have said.
Romney is running under the Republican platform, he is bound to it, no matter what he says or has said.
I don't understand how people think they are being true to their principles by ignoring the fact that Obama will win if Romney is not supported. Once again because there is a difference between the two if only in their ideologically different parties.
You say, "just imagine if all these third partiers decided to vote", how many third parties do you think we have?
A ton! Green party, libertarian party, constitutional party, independent party....
Honestly, I'm asking, Where would we be then?
