I've been doing a lot of reading on how the whole process works (and the many options available). And I think I'm going to give the BSBA/GM at Thomas Edison a shot. I live in NJ as well, so I get the in-state tuition for the classes I'd have to take through them. The cost to apply and have my transcript sent to them for review to see what all will transfer is well worth the low cost (about $85 total).
Hopefully soon I'll be posting details about the degree/credit-earning process.
Thanks again!
I think that's a valid move. Typically, BA to BA isn't a gain, it's net zero. I think business and nursing are the two shining exceptions. In any event, you'll find closer to 50 credits in business that you probably DON'T have. All of the 100/200 levels can be CLEPped, and there are exams for the uppers but also access to classes from a variety of sources in addition to TESC.
When you wrap up your BSBA, you might find the masters at Western New Mexico University interesting. They have master's degrees (the cheapest RA distance university in the country right now at under $10,000 for the whole thing) that are split between 2 fields. In fact, you can do a Business-English-Writing masters with them too. Good luck and welcome to the forum!
