VESI-like Tons of grad classes $110 per credit hour
#11
Yes that was me. At first TESC said "NO!" to VESI courses, I had to get a supervisor over the phone and explain to them they aren't original "continuing education" credits. That they are counted as graduate credits, it's just VESI calls it "continuing education units" and the supervisor called VESI to get a reconfirmation and they accepted it. So I'm pretty sure that the credits that perriquit found could possibly be negotiated into transfer as they did with my VESI courses. When I say negotiate I don't mean offer them money, lol. TESC is going to say "NO!" to anything that is new and alien-ish to them. VESI courses are education courses, yet TESC accepted mine into in my area of study.

I am very uncomfortable with testing out and so are a few of my fellow members on this forum that don't show themselves too often, lol. I showed my degree plan in messages for those who asked and are working on a degree without testing out. 80+ ACE credits and the remaining R.A credits (FHSU-Straighterline credit launder, VESI-St. Catherine, community college) to complete my degree wasn't too bad at all in the comfort of my own home. I feel like I'm bragging but I promise I am not, it's just a way for other members who don't feel comfortable of testing out and can venture into new sources of credit. Do I recommended it better vs CLEP/DSST? Not at all, as CLEP/DSST can transfer more and is similar to RA credit. But I always have a back up plan, when I plan on applying for graduate school, I am mostly going to go in person and show all my transcripts including my credits from Penn Foster/Straighterline/ACE and look em in the eye and say accept me! Smile

Edit, also my degree plan once I upload it, it was all under $6500. Not bad, not bad at all.

Certification (ACA) University of Central Florida
B.A. (Social Sciences) Thomas Edison State University
