I don't use or need CP, but I did read the book authored by the founder of CP. I've seen him promote the book in magazines. You can buy it for $10 on Amazon. It is sold on the CP website. It tells you everything you need to know to earn your college degree by testing out. (The edition I have doesn't mention CP.) What I am getting at is that he is not keeping this process a secret. I think this may be misunderstood. He seems to want people to know about this process. Reading his book is how I came to understand how to do this, so I want to be fair to him.
I've talked to many people about testing for college credit. The reality is that most people lack the confidence and initiative to do what we are doing. Even forming a degree plan and sending them on their way would not be enough for them. CP is for those in high school or just out of high school. Many parents want to to be sure that they are not messing up their child's college education. They want a lot of reassurance and every step laid out for them. Some desire to give their children a Christian education in a college enviroment that they feel is increasingly hostile to Christianity. CP fills that kind of need. There are those here that started with them and gained the confidence that they didn't need them any more. I think that is great.

I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.
