Hi there. Need some help. Has anyone been able to find affordable distance only electronics classes that could be used to transfer into either TESC or Excelsior's electronics programs? My research so far hasn't turned up much from a distance/online format for these type of classes. It looks like TESC. and Excelsior do offer most of these classes but I was hoping for a cheaper per credit option. I even looked at Penn foster but their ACE approval for some classes is hit or miss and seems like a headache to deal with.
Side note: through my research I found an interesting electronics/robotics degree from a Canadian community college called George Brown college. The program consists of modules that lead to a certificate or a diploma, Canada's version of the associates. Of interest, after completing the diploma, they have a partership with Indiana State University for completion of a BS in Technology Management. While tempting, I'm not sure how we'll received a Canadian "diploma" would be received when employees request associated degrees for most techinical jobs. I might be getting hung up on semantics. I wonder if either TESC or Excelsior would accept modules for credits? If so, it would be a no brainer. Thoughts welcomed.
