Saylor is a great source of information and the course quality appears to be detailed. My question is since CLEPs are more widely accepted than Saylor Credits, can you schedule a Principles of Marketing CLEP test? It usually runs about $100. $80 to The Collegeboard and $20 to the testing center. It may be that you are overseas and can't get to a CLEP testing center. Did you have to pay Saylor any money?
I can't speak for Zen, but the reason I went with the Saylor courses versus a CLEP test was the cost factor. Saylor does not charge anything for their courses. The only costs involved are the cost of proctoring. Even the transcripts are free at this point. Proctoring can either cost you $25 if you use Proctor U or it costs whatever your testing center/proctor charges. I went with my testing center because they only charge $20. I know it's only a savings of $5, but that's my preference.
Anyway, so the Saylor courses I took only cost me $20 for 3 credits. When I took my courses they only offered 3 different courses, but now with all the others ones they've added I probably would have went that route for some other courses too.
